EDUCATION MAKES PEOPLE EASY TO LEAD BUT DIFFICULT TO DRIVE
EASY TO GOVERN BUT IMPOSSIBLE TO ENSLAVE.

Education to me is the foundation to a personality and that is what my school has given me, to build my resolutions and aspirations.
In my most tender years this institution moulded my thoughts like a child moulds clay into any shape. The teachers were like a lighthouse which guides every ship to its destination. We as students were disciplined at every stage and taught to make the right choices in life, which has been the best thing i have learnt.. To know the right from the wrong has helped me move ahead in life.
My teachers not only taught me varied subjects and its contents but also guided us how to adjust and adapt to situations and changing environments.
Coming this far from my country to INDONESIA, the need to adjust and adapt other cultures and beliefs not enforce my ideas is what helped me feel comfortable in an unknown land.
I am really proud of my alumni, which has stood me in good stead, I often speak to my children about my school life and tell them what i have learnt as a child and how times have changed.
I have also learnt to grow with changing times, which is the need of the day and flow with current coz education is drawing out the best from a person.

SJC Sambalpur alumni Sushrii Mishraa among Miss India Finalist

St. Joseph's Convent Girl Could make it

After qualifying in the initial rounds in the Italy and Goa, Sushrii was selected for final round along with 28 girls.

A native of Kolabira in Jharsuguda district, Sushrii’s family lives in Sambalpur. While her father Col K.K Mishra is a defance officer station in Ranchi, her mother Sabita Panda is an Inspector in Police in the office of SP(Vigilance ),Sambalpur .

After Passing class X from St Joseph convent School at Sambalpur and plus two from BJB College Bhubaneswar Sushrii is now pursuing final year graduation with applied Psychology honors in Shyam prasad Mukherjee College under Delhi university.

Coach by Ritika Ramtri of Tiara pageant Training Studio She describes herself as a dreamer, explorer and discover, Nurturing a dream of making difference in the World Sushrii said. “I want to go that extra mile to bring the international crown back to India. And I believe it will be a step toward reaching my goal for this destiny, which I will decide.”

Biography

“I am a dreamer, explorer and a discoverer. I am very passionate about life. I belong to a defense background and that has taught me loyalty and courage. If I have to describe myself in 3 words I would say I am spontaneous, vivacious with a pinch of panache. I love dancing, horse riding, swimming, listening to music, reading and praying. I love to try new things in life. Because like any other ordinary girl I have extra ordinary dreams of making a difference in the world.
